Scope of Work

The client wanted Marmore to compile two lists of stocks listed in the GCC markets which had a historical average dividend yield of over 5% over the past 20 years. One of the list would contain stocks part of the Large Market Capitalization universe while the other would contain stocks part of the Medium Capitalization universe.

Solution

Since there are no existing methodology to classify the stocks based on Market Capitalization, Marmore designed its own methodology to draw up a list. Dividend yield information was sourced from multiple specialized third party data providers and publicly

Impact

The lists enabled the client to take investment decisions based on the dividend yield history of the companies.
